Reverse:  "After 20 years under a foreign government, caused by the hate dictat of Versailles, back to the Reich.

On March 20, 1939, Hitler demanded the return of the Memel port from Lithuania. Memel was separated from Germany in 1919 through the Versailles Treaty. It was founded in 1252 by the Teutonic Knights. Lithuania surrendered Memel without resistance on March 22, 1939.
