Once populated, this gallery will house models, moulds, reduction models, hubs, master hubs, dies, and any other medallic creative process artifact Goetz created and used in order to create a final cast or struck piece. We will begin with what we have in the KarlGoetz.com collection but hope to add many more pieces from private collections and museum holdings.
Although these same pages will be included in the Œuvre-Katalog, having them all in one place, and sequentially numbered using the new Kienast cataloging number system, will be helpful for collector and researcher identification. Most of this pieces can be linked to a final product, be it cast or struck, and therefore, will be added to the appropriate page. See K-2 for an example of how this will be done.
