1905 Cast Bronze Commemorative Medallion, 97.5mm, 232.00g., Edge-punched; KGoeTz
Obverse: Ludwig seated 3/4 left, head in left profile. Dressed in full military regalia. Inscription: LUDWIG PRINZ V. BAYERN PROTEKTOR.
Reverse: Sprigs of oak and edelweiss with Munich city seal at bottom. Inscription reads CENTRAL-VERBAND DEVTSCHER BÆCKER-INNVNGEN GERMANIA DEVTSCHE BÆCKEREI MVENCHEN AVSSTELLVNG, 1905, “Central Association of German Bakers Guilds of Germania”, below “German Bakery Exhibition Munich 1905.”

Obverse: Same as K-22 with exception of added 'K•GoeTz' signature on left shoulder below epaulette.
Reverse: Slight device differences, slight text type differences, and different Münchner Kindl without halo on City Shield.

GERMAN BAKER'S EXHIBITION PRIZE MEDAL
1905 Struck Silver, vergoldet, Prize Medal, 38.0mm, 25.0g.
Obverse: Same as K-22(b).
Reverse: Same as K-22(b) with the exception of added incuse inscription HÖCHSTER PREIS (Top Prize) on the ribbon at the bottom.

The commission for this piece was a probable offshoot from Goetz joining the Bavarian Numismatic Society in 1905. The President of the society made it a habit to show Goetz’ works to the members at the monthly meetings. Some new orders came to Goetz this way with this medal possibly being one of them.
